First time in Atlantic City (since my childhood days) and what a surprising change, with many casinos and hotels popping up into the sky, all lit up at night and reflecting off the ocean waters. My visit was a week filled with farmers and manufacturers to purchase supplies, food, equipment, fun gadgets….you name it!
My client, BCI, was sponsoring the event and their artist created a very cool “retro” decor display and oversized TV at the top of the escalators. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Three days of drawing so many individuals, couples and a couple of dogs into fun digital cartoon characters.
On last day, I met the Candy lady who traded with me: I drew her cartoon and she made me my own “candy selfie!” So cool!
I was a huge hit at this trade show and I am looking to be a regular for my client!
