Alaska’s soon to be ex-governor. Do I hear rumor of a possible future run for the white house in 2012?
A woman with such confidence, strength and pride, as I had digitally illustrated.
Here is a digital caricature of Palin that I sketched in pencil, scanned and continued to paint in my Corel Painter X program.
This caricature was also featured in Corel Painter Magazine, issue #31 (2009) with my interview spread on 4 pages.

I had the pleasure of drawing caricatures at the Messiah today with many visitors coming in from around the world. The kids were wonderful and they asked many questions as they hung out over my shoulder to watch me draw each victim,…er… I mean person (*grin*), in my chair.
A Great Big Thank you to Almighty Bruce, Mara, and everyone!
And while waiting, some potos of their beautiful red covered bridge,

I loved this show for quite some time and still enjoy watching it every chance I have.
I designed Dr House awhile back but took more time to brush him up in my Corel Painter X program.
This was shown in my interview with Corel Painter Magazine, issue #31, 2009.

Today I drew quick B&W and entertained with my caricatures for a luncheon room full of ladies.
They decided to have a raffle for the caricature winners and after each winner was drawn, she would show the whole room and you would hear laughter and applause.
Here are the laugh-ees-

Of course, while I was so close to Canada, I just had to cross the border for my own curiosity!
Lo and behold, the beautiful Canadian waterfalls.
This was a nice conclusion to my traveling weekend event.

Sometimes, as a caricature artist, I am fortunate enough to be hired in beautiful parts of this great country. Not too long ago, I was flown to California. Shortly before that, Atlanta, Georgia.
This past weekend took me to a very special 1st wedding anniversary just outside Buffalo, NY, in a grand, magnificent, and picturesque state park.
The anniversary reception itself was held in a two-hundred year old mansion, with three-story high pillars extending around the old building’s large porch.
And the view wasn’t just of a few trees. One of three huge waterfalls (several hundred feet high) was just right outside the house. Modern attractions like the still in service train bridge and the sight of hot air balloons in the still evening air made for the perfect evening.
The room was crowded with guests who traveled far. I had a tight spot to set up my equipment, but thanks to my husband who created my custom Treasel set-up, I was able to draw in a 4×4 area, along with my LED lights (no need for any electrical power and I help save the environment!).
Here a a handful of photos, along with the mansion and view surrounding the mansion.

I just returned from a weekend trip and I am now catching up with a few posts for my blog.
Friday evening, I had the pleasure of drawing caricatures for another graduation party in NJ. This was a drop off/pick up party so it was a wild evening of fun and laughter.
Here are a few fun cartoons.

Last night I had the remarkable opportunity to entertain with my pen at an all-night party for a legion of students.
After rolling in my ’secret agent transformer’ case and my ‘treasel’ (my custom tripod easel), I setup next to several other fun artists from the Philadelphia area, including John, Pat, and Emily. The four of us also worked alongside several other artists from outside the Philly area.
The students were laughing very loudly throughout the night and into the morning as we all turned the students into cartoons. You can seen some of my samples below.
