The Faculty’s Funny Faces
I’ve done plenty of events at schools and entertained thousands of students from elementary age to college grads, so being asked to draw at Delaware Technical Community College at the end of the school year was not too surprising. What did catch me a little off guard, though, was finding out that I’d be drawing at a staff appreciation event and not draw any students – just a group of colleagues enjoying the beginning of their summer holidays and congratulating each other for another “job well done.”
I drew at two DTCC campuses, the first event being on Wednesday at the Wilmington campus. It was a great time drawing live digital caricatures for the faculty and staff, especially when I got to see the security team let loose and act like kids. The second event was on Friday at the Newark, DE campus. A good time was had by all, and my digital caricatures were a hit!
