A back-to-back event booking brought me to Texas with a few days to enjoy the surrounding sites and make my way to Tulsa. My Texas event was with Lubbock Christian University and I had fun drawing many of the guests and students visiting the homecoming weekend at the cafe. Take a look at many smiles and the variety of age.

Following the LCU homecoming event, I was thrilled to visit many sites within the area. First stop was Buddy Holly Museum, a talented young artist who died so young, and his band made film on “American Bandstand” and “The Ed Sullivan Show” just like father’s band did the same, http://thejordanbrothers.com.

Second stop was Prairie Dog Town where all the prairie dogs were popping out of their holes, inside and outside the fence at a ball park area in Lubbock. then off to Palo Duro Canyon where I ran a 3 mile trail to climb “the Lighthouse” and see a road runner up close and a coyote running down the highway median grass strip!

With my rental car, I was off to visit Wichita Falls and Tulsa for next event with my ABB client!
