Following a long stretch of corporate events and conventions and a short break at home, I was back to work this week. It was a welcome change of pace to be doing a couple of fun family events for smaller groups, as opposed to the raucous atmosphere of those big industry expos.
First, I was off to Stamford, CT for a Bat Mitzvah at the Sheraton Hotel. There, I used my iPad to create digital caricatures for the guests and literally “drew a crowd” when I created a FUN caricatures of all the guests and family. That evening, I stayed at the Sheraton and waited until morning to make the long drive home. A few days later, I headed back up north to New Rochelle, NY to draw at a wedding reception. I met up with a fellow artist and together we drew the couples attending the reception for 6 hours, that was originally set for 4 hours. I made the long drive home in the “light” snow that evening so I can start making my Easter weekend arrangements.
So, now it’s time to get back to my menu planning. I hope you all have a happy and blesses Easter!
