The energy and excitement of Las Vegas is infectious. That excitement strikes you before your plane even touches the ground at McCarran International Airport. It’s more than a privilege to be asked to share my talent in the city that performers and artists like Celine Dion and Wayne Newton have called “home.” So, when my longtime client Infosys Inc. asked me to join them at IBM Interconnect 2015, I enthusiastically agreed.
This convention and trade show brings together the pioneers of the cloud-computing industry for a multi-day extravaganza at the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay hotels on the Las Vegas strip. With over 22,000 attendees, IBM Interconnect is the place to be to witness the forefront of computer and communications technology. I was drawing nearly non-stop for Infosys at their trade show booth during the convention, but certainly made the most of my time in the evening.
It’s difficult to deny that Las Vegas may have more great food and entertainment choices than any other place on the planet. Along with my friend and colleague Donna, I saw the incredibly hilarious “Spank!” – A parody of the wildly popular “Fifty Shades of Grey” book and movie. We also got our fill for thrill on the Voodoo Zip Line – a 500 foot zip line ride between the two towers of the Rio Las Vegas hotel and casino. To top it all off, we were given the opportunity to see the one-and-only Aerosmith in concert! All in all, this was an experience for the record books.
