Big Parties in the Big Apple

Off to another city for two more gigs in two days. I’m really starting to feel like a rock star! I got home from Charlotte and got a few hours of sleep before I was on the road again, this time to New York City. I was excited to pick up my son on the way and have him assist me at the events. We arrived in the city with a few hours to spare, so we decided to go see the historic New York Public Library and see what literature they had to offer on photography.

The first event of the weekend was the Duke University Alumni Reunion at the Andaz Hotel on Fifth Avenue. Since this was the first time the Duke University Alumni Association held their reunion away from their home in Durham, North Carolina, I was happy to be there to create live digital caricatures and make their reunion so special.

The next morning, we had a delicious, New York style breakfast and drove to Scarsdale for our next event. Drawing digital again, we kept the guests of Sarah’s Bat Mitzvah on their toes with our special brand of entertainment. My son, JT, really enjoyed keeping the guests happy and had a little fun of his own.
