Sometimes, this caricature artist needs to get back to her roots. This past weekend, I laid down my Wacom tablet in favor of pencil and paper. For five hours, I drew traditional caricatures at a wedding reception in central Pennsylvania. The wedding guests kept me so busy that I didn’t even have a chance to greet or congratulate the happy couple on their nuptials. Still, it was a such a wonderful evening that I nearly forgot to pack up and ended staying an extra hour passed my scheduled time. That didn’t really upset me, though, as I was glad to continue to contribute to the joy of the evening.
