Santa’s arrival at the mall.

I had the pleasure of working with my friend/artist Pat Harrington on Saturday night. We had to draw couples/bodies, and the clothing of the year these guests met the birthday person. This was different, but ended up being lots of fun!

Hi Angie, I really enjoy the “50th B-day” posting. Especially how you captured the baby w/o using cliche images. Nice job! BTW, what kind of paper do you use? You seem to get a nice range of lineweights that my work misses. Thanks!

    Thanks Robert!

I use Springhill Index paper, 110 lbs, size 11×14.

For markers, I use a mix of the Dixon Markettes, Chartpak black and the black Pitt pen.

For the 50th party, we were requested to draw on lettersize paper, so I only used a Pitt Pen, since we had to fit couples or more on a small size paper.

I hope this helps you. Good luck!

    Fun and educational gig Ang!
Nice balance of b&w and graytone you get on some of these.
In my entire history of drawing bigboobs, I don’t think I ever had one quite as big as in post 2!

PS Thanks for lending me your camera!

    Hey Pat!

Thanks for complies! It’s funny, but I actually drew the lady’s “poof” in her dress and not boobs. At the time, I didn’t even think about boobs, just her outfit. Obviously I didn’t draw it clear enough!

Hope to draw with you again real soon!
