Last week was my 3rd time in New orleans and this old city is really growing on me. My first day visiting, I decided to take a swamp airboat ride and I have to say that this was quite a ride! We went 50 miles per hour through the open lily pad fields and eventually went flying down swamp paths that were like a maze. We stopped to see many gators, turtles and birds that actually dive into the water to catch fish. The view of the swamp-like trees were breath taking and I have to admit, this tour was one of my favorites!
The next 3 days, I parked myself and my new Wacom Companion drawing tablet in my client’s booth at the NASS 2013 conference to draw in the attendees with my Live Digital Caricature Entertainment. (No pun attended – :)) There was such a stir in our booth, that we attracted the NASS organization to join the fun and have their fun digital caricature created for everyone to watch, live, on the large flat panel screen.
The compliments were flying about, on how I have the knack to capture the personality within a person, with my live digital caricatures. These digital images are started from scratch using my stylus pen, created on the spot in about 7 minutes time, and printed on-site for everyone, drawn, to take home a nice color print. The files are posted on slink provided to our guests so they can download their fun digital caricature and use as an avatar on many of the social networks, like Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
And the BONUS is…. my client wants me back for there next conference. I LOVE to DRAW and I thank God for my talents, my drive and ambition, and good health!
Here are some fun photos to share with you from my adventures!
Also, my client had asked me to design a fun Cheetah in my cartoon style and this is what I came up with in about 10-15 minutes during any down time.
