Last night I had a blast working the late hours with a very good artist friend named Joe White. He always shows up early to every event, dresses in fine clothing, and brings a nice black easel and small set-up. He has a great attitude when working with other artists and most importantly, a great attitude towards his guests and clients.
Joe and I entertained together and drew the crowd of graduating high school students into a fun caricature to take home and hang on their wall for a very long time.
Down every hallway was a line of helium balloons, in groups, with every graduating student’s name attached at the end of the cluster of balloons. The family of each graduating student bought one or more balloons with a message attached to them. I find this to be another nice gift to take, along with a caricature that has a memory to last a long time.
Take a look at some of the happy students!
