About a month ago, I entertained with my Live Digital Caricatures at a trade show for Xerox in Chicago, Graph Expo Event. Xerox called again, wanting to bring me back for another of their events. This one was much larger and was held in Atlanta. In fact, in addition to myself returning, Xerox brought in three additional digital artists, Rhoda, Al, and Ellen, to help with the large number of attendees.
I had to leave the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA) convention at the start of its second day, flying out of Vegas to Atlanta. You don’t realize it until you’re in the midst of it, but that’s a lot of traveling in only a few days! Four flights and three time zones in a week!
This was an enormous event for Xerox, with some very important people in attendance for this event.
In fact, the highlight for me, was when I was asked to draw Xerox CEO Ursula Burns, which you can see in one of the pictures below. She LOVED the caricature that I drew for her!
All in all, this was a very fun event. It’s not too often when you get to join a handful of the top digital artists at one event. This one-night event flew by and before I knew it, I was flying back at 6 am the next morning back to the ISCA convention two time zones away for some more surprises!
