Washington, DC, was home to some electrifying digital attractions at the Sage Summit, thanks to the Live Digital Caricatures from Digital Blacksmiths, my digital entertainment company.
The first night, the Citrix conference exhibit was the hit of the conference as I drew Live Digital Caricatures on my giant 21-inch touch screen “Cintiq” digital tablet.
Attendees gathered around their exhibit (allowing the reps to introduce them to the Citrix line of products) as I drew digital caricatures of them and printed out the custom prints, with the Citrix brand added to each print.
Another award-winning artist from the International Society of Caricature Artists, Court Jones was flown into Washington, DC, by Digital Blacksmiths from San Diego, California to feature his digital caricatures for Citrix for the remainder of the week.
To entertain the attendees quickly while keeping clean lines in our artwork, both Court and I use a digital painting program, called Painter. This high end specialty art program allows us to express our creativity quickly and realistically on our digital tablets for our clients.
Citrix told us how much they loved how much attention their exhibit received by featuring us and how much their representatives at the conference were able to get more in-depth one-on-one time with those visiting their exhibit.
