Last night, there was an update for one of the apps we use for drawing on the iPad at live events for iPad Caricatures. This update for Sketchbook Pro now allows us to patch into an external monitor or projector to show what is being drawn live.

This is exciting because it adds one more element to make this super hot piece of technology really draw a crowd at events. Not only are people attracted to the sleek design and coolness of the iPad, but they get to see their friends and co-workers drawn on the large screen as I draw the iPad Caricatures with a special pen designed just for the iPad.

As you can see in the picture below, this live feed out of the iPad can plug into any external display with the VGA out cable. We are now using this with the same digital projector I use for my Live Digital Caricatures, as well as plugging into high definition flat panels.

If you are looking to book digital caricatures with the iPad, please contact me (on the contact tab in the menu at the top of this page).
