Last week, not only did I receive a visit from my good artist and friend, Wade Collins, he spent the whole day with me as I drew caricatures for 4 hours under the hot sun for many kids and adults at Cowan park. It was quite a distance to get to this park and the company of Wade helped make this ride go by quicker.
The most interesting part of this day was that I drew a young toddler who had 6 fingers on each hand. Amazing! My mind quickly thought that it’s possible this little boy can become a great artist or pianist with having that many fingers. Unfortunately, his father told me that the doctor(s) think it’s best to remove one finger on each hand, due to many health risks and insurance. It was fun to draw him with 6 fingers on each hand, so he has memories of his younger years.
