The next day after my event in Annapolis, MD, I flew out to Vegas to join over 150 artists around the world to spend a week together competing, attending art classes and more. These are, literally, some of the best and most creative caricature artists the world offers.

During the first evening, we attended the welcoming reception to meet new artists and reacquaint with old friends from around the world, whom we otherwise only have the opportunity to touch base with online. I had the pleasure of meeting and working along side a new and FUN artist, Dan Almariei and rooming with my dear friend and cartoon style artist, Kira Layli!

The electricity was in the air right from this first night as many artists, anxious to begin creating, started to draw right at the reception!

Here are some photos from the first 2 days at the convention.
