The Asher Basher!
Posted on November 9, 2009
After a long trip home from the Ohio Caricature Convention, I headed straight to an event to draw for several hours.
It was Asher’s big day for he was adopted by a wonderful, lovely couple. The event was a celebration to bring the family together to not only meet Asher and others, but to have a great time. I was the entertainment added to Asher’s big day to entertain and draw caricatures for many of the fun guests (most were Italian).
Here are a few pics. Gracius!
Group Caricature – 12 people
Posted on October 30, 2009
A few weeks ago, I received a big order for a 12 person hunting/fishing design for a company calendar.
Even though it is difficult to create many into one drawing and keep a nice balanced composition, I, however, love the challenge of creating these group caricatures.
I was very fortunate that my client had asked me to make it a hunting and fishing theme, sent close up head shots of everyone and left the design up to me. I finally finished it! Thank you Tony!

I had a returning client ask me to draw her boss into a Superhero with company and personal information.
I did my best to make it fun and a bit comic book style.
Now is the time to order gifts for Christmas!
I have a something new in store for Christmas gifts, that I will post in about 1-1/2 weeks.
Stay tooned with my blog!
Angie’s Phalanges Digital Caricature Podcast!
Posted on October 28, 2009
Angie’s what? Yes, Angie’s Phalanges! As my fingers deftly swing the digital stylus pen over my Wacom Cintiq screen creating caricatures, the recorder rolls, capturing the magic being drawn on the screen. These recordings are a small part of the bonus material included in my book on how to perform Live Digital Caricatures.
As my fanpage on Facebook nears 600 fans, I am frequently asked by other artists about using Corel Painter and performing Live Digital Caricatures. The book was part of an answer to that question.
These videos are the other answer. These are just the first, and I hope to hear from you what you would like to be included in future episodes. If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, just click the link below the video to download it!
