Winter Sun, College Fun!

Posted on February 1, 2012

Well, it’s still considered winter, yet it’s sunny and in the 50′s up here in Central Pennsylvania. It’s an honor that most of my work comes from returning clients and word of mouth. My most recent event was just such an occasion, when a local college brought back my entertaining cartoon/caricatures to get the students out of the dorms and out to have fun!

Below are a few of those smiles taken from my iPhone, which is becoming my “go to” camera!

With the current business trends I am seeing from last year and into the first month of 2012, I will be switching to a faster server due to the intense traffic I’ve been receiving.

Plus, some other exciting news will be posted here soon. Starting with my two books, then my iPhone app, and now my recent seminars on creating art digitally, things have been moving increasingly faster and bigger opportunities have found their way to me.

Two of these opportunities will be posted in the next few months with the first in March (in New York City) and the second in April (in Baltimore). Stay tuned! In the meantime, enjoy the photos!

Posted on January 30, 2012

I finally had a chance to return to my character design with the Big Bang gang, before facing much business that lies ahead of me! For my own personal fun, I took the time to study each character; the way each character stands and interacts, the personality of each character, the main expression of each [...]

Winter blues? Nope: Excitement at schools!

Posted on January 21, 2012

The holidays came and went and the children returned to school for about 5 more months of classroom education. To help with the ‘back to school blues’ anyone might have, I brought my fun education program to another of our local elementary schools this past week that included an iPad drawing demonstration! Seven class periods [...]

Drafting a Retirement Gift Caricature!

Posted on January 13, 2012

A few days ago, I received a last minute gift caricature order for a person who has retired from an engineering firm that designs and creates chimneys, steel stacks, and special structures. I did not want to post this until the fortunate person received his fun surprise gift. I found it quite comical that this [...]

Bringing Fun Caricatures to the New Year!

Posted on January 12, 2012

Last night was my first event this year and I was delighted that my clients loved my work so much that they kept me approx. 2 hours longer. Also, the event took place at a hotel (my second time at this same hotel) that overlooks a great waterfall. Even in the winter time, this waterfall [...]
