Hollywood Casino Trade Show Caricatures!

Last night was my first visit to the Hollywood Casino in Grantville, which is pretty much down the road for me. I could not believe how large this casino was and they had a horse race track behind the building. The windows on the 4th floor overlooked the whole race track.
I was part of another trade show with my client from last week.
Since many other booths had horserace themes, I decided to draw a few of my guests with a stick pony. This trade show turned out to be loads of fun and I kept busy drawing many of the trade show guests and visitors.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of drawing my fun cartoon style caricatures for a client who wanted to bring traffic to his trade show booth. With my new treasel(tm) and small ATA case, I only needed a small area to set up, which fit perfectly next to my client’s business display table.
We were set up at a corner of the trade show and my client was kind enough to ask how we should set up. I flashed back at my life as a fulltime cadd operator who design many floor plans and I was able to suggest a layout that helped bring the traffic towards his table and it worked!
I could not believe the compliments that I had received from many of the people that I drew into a fun cartoon, along with the crowd who stopped to watch me entertain. Thanks Mike! (both of you- lol!)

I Love Lucy Marathon!

I noticed on Saturday that a marathon of the “I Love Lucy” shows were playing throughout the whole weekend.
Between working on my orders and personal art work, I was able to watch and enjoy many of Lucy’s funny shows.
Lucy is one of my favorite female comedians of all time! My son, JT, (and my husband) have mentioned many times how I remind them of Lucy. My husband evens calls me a “Ninny” over some of the funny and odd things that I do practically everyday.
Here is my cartoon design that I did of the cast and I have hanging on the wall in my hallway, along with my Beatles cartoon design and other art.
