Here is a pic of my animated husband! He has all kinds of neat faces and expressions and his face seems to be popular with many caricaturists .
I took this photo of him while he was helping me on my first day at the Philly convention. He looks like a Worrywart (ha-ha), but I love his animated face!

The cartoon to the right,(which I’ve done sooooo many renditions of Scott), I created at a festival last week to warm up and bring the crowd to me. Somehow, it always works with HIS face! LOL!
I had to keep this cartoon and plan to make a digital of it soon (because we both like it so much).

It was a fun VIP day!

I actually drew my first RAT, but I’m sad to say I “goofed” with this drawing. I meant to draw his snoot to a point.
I guess I was thinking “dog” on my mind, since I draw so many dogs at these events. Also speed is an issue.
I never held a real rat, especially a pet rat, and this bugger had me quite curious about looking into owning one!
I heard they are very smart pets! This one was adorable with his funky guitar T-shirt!

This photo was taken last Friday night of my favorite lil fuzzy named Corky (ferret).
He almost did not make it in the beginning of September, but I helped pull him thru his rough weekend and so far, so good. He’s running out of time (old age and illness) but I am still enjoying him!

Scott and I thought the photo was funny, so I thought I’d post!

I really want and need to work on the “bulging eye” effect with those type of dogs.
Even though I did a good job and the clients loved their drawings, I felt “Not up to my best” on this event. Not sure if it had to do with weather or me!
Oh well, every artist has days like this!

Although… the line kept growing as I surprisingly heard another person whisper behind me “She’s really good!” I heard the word “Disney” (again), and about 3 times, so not sure what people were saying about me this time.

All I can say is I keep getting the work, so I must be doing something right! ~wink~

Well, today I worked at a fundraiser and took many photos to find out that I did NOT have my camera card set properly! Bummer!
So, I came home and finished a hand drawn studio cartoon order of Pete!

The word passed on and I was overtaken by mobs with their furry beasts!
some cute, odd, and fashionable!
