Dog & Pony Show!
Posted on May 16, 2010
Saturday morning I ventured out with my husband for a long Saturday. I dropped him off in Cherry Hill, NJ for his magic event with Beneficial bank and I continued on to my first event in Wilmington, DE.
This first time fundraising event was held outside and they hired me to entertain and draw pets into a fun cartoon style. They asked for donations per caricature to help recoup some of the cost and I was a hit! It looks like I will be back for next year’s event! Thank you Susan!

Frist time I drew a turtle pet into cartoon!

Bark the Herald Angels Sing!

Tonight was the last successful night to take your photo with Santa and receive a FREE fun cartoon.
The dogs and owners were lining up and I was drawing and coloring each pet or groups of pets that had their photo taken with Santa.
Sometimes there were 4 or 5 pets in the same drawing and that is how the photo was taken with Santa (in a group) before they came to me for a cartoon. A few customers had to wait quite a while for their turn for a pet cartoon, while the dogs were barking and interacting with each other.
One young lady, with her dog, had told me that she was told to get her pet’s photo taken and that’s it’s worth the wait to have a cartoon drawn by me. Thanks!
Here are a few dogs, cats and a bunny rabbit! My favorites tonight was the group of 4 dogs (2 chuauas, dober pincher and lab mix), along with the cat and bunny. I think they could make a cute christmas card out of my drawing!
The one Chuaua on left kept barking! lol!

Bunny ears got in the way of the one photo so I combined 2 photos together.

and more pet cartoons…
FREE Cartoon Pet(s) with Angie Jordan

Every year our mall hires my talent for “Take your pet photo with Santa Day!”
If you buy a certain package, you receive a free cartoon of your pet(s) drawn into a color cartoon by me.
WE had a crowd last night with many dogs dressed in fancy coats and some Christmas accessories, along with a special visit from a skunk. The skunk received most of the attention and he was chomping away on his melee worms, when I was drawing him into a fun cartoon style.
You can hear barking everywhere and the dogs were excited to visit Santa and other mall guests.
Here are a few photos taken from last night.

Here is my November winner from my Facebook Fan Page.
This is Kirk Crosby and he told me he loves 80′s cartoon, a grad at Troy with Marketing, and is extremely close to his best friend, Cammie and dog Nutmeg.
I posted this on my Facebook and here is Kirk’s comment:
O M G! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT! HAHAHAHAHA! THAT IS THE BEST! :0)
and another comment:
“I could NOT love it more, Angie! It is the BEST I’ve EVER seen! Absolutely AMAZING! Thank you SO much! :0)”
I had so much fun creating this cartoon for Kirk! On November 20th at around 8pm, I will be picking my December winner.
