My son and I enjoyed the day at Hershey Park for their Springtime opening!
JT took this photo, while coming out of a tunnel on the Sooper Dooper Looper,
and since the camera hit daylight so quickly, the photo overexposed.
We both thought the photo was really cool.
Also, JT took this other photo. He has such a good eye for photography!

After a full week of art work, I took the night off to go bowling. My son, JT likes to take pics and does an excellent job! I love this one he took of me as an experiment. He timed the shot just right!

A brunette me!
I was doing research for Silver’s class and I came across this photo of a girl, who really caught my eye! She looked so much like me in my younger years, but with darker features. I wish I had more of a straight on shot of my younger face to show, but this photo (at 24 yrs old) was all I could find to come close enough. I could not believe how this girl resembled me during my years at her age (late teens/20’s).
Also, I find it uncanny that her one eye squints more than other, when she smiles, which my son makes fun about ME, when I do this in MY photos.
Her nose is exact…even the face structure and chin, lighter big eyes, dark arched eyebrows. Wow! I wonder if she is my long lost sister!
UPDATE: I found contact and name to the photo (Megan). I emailed her and she was delighted to hear from me, along with saying our similarities are quite eerie.
As we conversed back and forth, we found that both of our mothers have a dose of Welsh and English in our blood. Our differences are with the father’s side, she is Hispanic and I am Italian/Lithuanian.
This stuff fascinates me and even when I draw live, I like to think about the nationality of the person I am drawing! Sometimes I guess on their nationality, and at times I am right on, but other times I like to question the person, so I can learn and study their anatomy features.

This past summer I became a member of the Frackville Historical Society to help restore the town that carries many memories of my childhood. The society honored my father and uncles,
The Jordan Brothers
, last spring and that is the time I had learned about the existence of this society.
Our town is in desperate need of attention, so I decided to join the committee and help build the city back to life again!
Scott and I started the design of the website and front page is up and running. We hope to have more, as time moves on, and we will be setting up a Paypal Donation to help our city. Keep checking in! Thanx!

I know! I look like a “Dufus” in top photo, but here I am with the young and very talented Wayne Hoffman, a famous mentalist and illusionist. Watch for him on NBC this month and be sure to vote!
You will be amazed with his talents! He’s the best! Copperfield, MOVE over!
And of course, my hub stopped by to see me and I couldn’t wait to try out my new Canon camera!

This photo was taken last Friday night of my favorite lil fuzzy named Corky (ferret).
He almost did not make it in the beginning of September, but I helped pull him thru his rough weekend and so far, so good. He’s running out of time (old age and illness) but I am still enjoying him!
Scott and I thought the photo was funny, so I thought I’d post!

Sunday, I managed to slap on makeup and an outfit to attend my cousin’s Bridal Shower and to my surprise, Crystal (my cousin’s cousin, whom I spent a part of my childhood with, was waving her hand at me! In our younger days, we hung out for many fun times together, like swimming at the Bluey (a pit hole in Frackville) when those Secada flies were flying in our path and we were screaming, chasing my younger brother away (he liked Crystal), and just taking turns sleeping over each other’s place.
I can remember a time when I went to HER school for a day, with written permission.
I almost got her in trouble while she was taking a test. What can I say, I get bored easily.
Now that I think back, it was really strange to walk into another school for a day and attend classes and meet strange kids my age, just to hang with Crystal! Weird!
I wonder what my parents had thought. I cannot recall.
I remember flirting with a cute boy named Rich, and later having a few small “movie” dates with him. He was the cutest boy in C’s class. At that time, I was afraid of getting close to any boy and I believe I was only around 16 yrs old!! Imagine that?
I think he may have tried to kiss me and I broke it off! Blech…boys!
but…I loved to flirt and still do!
Crystal is STILL Gorgeous as ever, she’s sooo full of fun and has a big heart, too!
She is FAR from being superficial and fake like many I witness or acknowledge today!
She’s a real TRUE friend. They are hard to find!!
I am SO looking forward to the wedding at end of Oct and catching up some more!
