Irish Terrier Convention Cartoons!

Posted on October 3, 2009

It was an exciting event under the outdoor tent during the Irish Terrier Club of America event last night.
I had the pleasure of drawing owners with their cute little IT’s into my fun color cartoon style.

Many guests were lining up to watch and receive one of my color cartoons.
A few guests traveled from a great distance with their pet terriers, like Canada and western states.

Many had told me they would like to have me back for next year, so I hope to be a part of this great group again.
Thank you again Rose!

I had my iphone to take pics once again (I left my camera with my son-Argh!). The photos shown are a bit grainy, and I only had time to take a few. I was THAT busy and I wanted to make sure I could fit many guests so they can take a cartoon home with them to hang on their wall.

I absolutely adore drawing pets, especially dogs, and I have another winter season doing this with Santa’s Pet Day in December at our local mall.

Natalie’s Christening

Posted on September 28, 2009

Yesterday I was fortunate to have been invited to entertain at Natalie’s baptism. Her cute face was adorable to turn into a cartoon as her parents watched.

It is always a precious moment when a family baptizes their son or daughter, as it marks such an important moment in their life.

After entertaining with my fun drawings, I congratulated both parents before heading home from upstate New Jersey.

Coincidentally, this was at the same place my husband and I stopped while on our way home from a Live Digital Caricature event in Connecticut a few months ago. And later this week, I’ll be heading back to New Jersey for another caricature event! One of these days I’ll stop to catch my breath, but it might not be until next year at this pace!

Outdoor Family Picnic!

It sure makes an artist feel great when you are the special “secret” guest arriving at the party.

As soon as I arrived, the family and guests crowded around me to watch me draw and have themselves turned into a Saturday morning cartoon.

This is and was a great day to celebrate before the kids start school.

A BIG THANK YOU to Michelle and her husband for having me for their annual party. I really enjoyed drawing the small and big kids. ~wink~

Caricature Summer Events!

Posted on August 23, 2009

I’m playing catch-up on my blog and I’m posting three places that I have been drawing caricatures throughout my week.
One event was a Scottish festival and I drew Scott in a kilt when he stopped by to visit me. :)
Scott-ish drawn by Angie Jordan

Other events that I drew caricatures was at a resort in the Poconos called Split Rock and a Company Picnic.
Joe White and my friend, Missi, who paints wonderful faces joined me for this fun and sunny day at Jim Thorpe. Thanks Joe and Missi!
