Live Digital House Party
Posted on February 14, 2010
It seems that things worked out perfectly this weekend. Not only did the snow fall early in the week so traffic was a breeze, but I had the great opportunity to bring my Live Digital Caricatures to what looks to be a new trend: distinguished house parties.
This party happened to be her twelfth birthday and everyone hung around watching me drawing on the Cintiq and the extra iMac screen.
I could continue about how much fun it was to be invited into this wonderful family’s home and be a guest of honor for a few hours. But I think pictures speak louder than words, so get ready for an onslaught!
First, here is a digital cartoon of the family, including their pet dogs.

After all girls were drawn into their theme choice, all 9 girls (one girl missing in photo) were put into one group drawing as a special gift for the birthday person to have for keeps! Happy Birthday Cela!

Update: My client left a comment;
I can’t say enough good things about Angie. She arrived over an hour early, she set up in small quaters and accomdated all of the kids at our daughter’s party. I knew we made the right decision when Angie was surrounded by 10 twelve year old girls waiting for their turn and she was just so nice to each one. She made each girl feel like they were the only one in the room.
The Asher Basher!
Posted on November 9, 2009
After a long trip home from the Ohio Caricature Convention, I headed straight to an event to draw for several hours.
It was Asher’s big day for he was adopted by a wonderful, lovely couple. The event was a celebration to bring the family together to not only meet Asher and others, but to have a great time. I was the entertainment added to Asher’s big day to entertain and draw caricatures for many of the fun guests (most were Italian).
Here are a few pics. Gracius!
Baseball Cartoons!

I was asked to design a few baseball cartoons for a large sign being designed and painted on canvas.
I had fun with these and my client was pleased.

Digital Caricature School Presentation in Auditorium!
Posted on May 18, 2009
Scott and I went big with my caricature presentation in front of 3 classes with about 100 students each on the auditorium stage.
Afterwards, we were told that it was the best program they had seen in a long time.
The students were cheering and all raising their hands for a caricature, along with participating in our fun program.
I did not take photos, but here are a few of the digital files I created for the cheering students. And some were put into my past themes.
Thank you Linda!

I received this email a few days later (Thanks Sarah!)
Dear Angie Jordan,
I am a student from SH that you have recently visited on Monday, May 18th, 2009! I was at the 6th grade assembly! I sat in the very front row on your left! I was absolutely amazed by the drawing you made! How did you learn to draw like that? I visited your sites as well! I like the website “Pet-Toons!” I saw that on one of the pages that there was a black dog with a stick in its mouth! That reminded me of my dog, Lilly! Now that picture is my background on my computer! Anyhow, I’m just amazed by your creations! I’m an artist! Well sorta! I hope you visit again next year to SH School! Thanks for coming!
Sincerely, Sarah
