Scott and I had a wonderful time in Philly, staying at Loews Hotel, dining out and attending the performance of a well-known play called “Les Miserables.” (a Christmas gift to us from relatives)
What a great story in this play!!!! I loved, loved loved it!
I absolutely was mesmerized by the lead actor, Jean Valjean, and his pure sounding voice!
He captured my attention every time he sang a note!
We downloaded the CD from Itunes (original cast from London), but I actually preferred the voice of the Jean Valjean in the Philly play, named Hugh Panero, more than the original singer on this CD.

Here are photos of the evening. It rained a bit and it was a hot and sweaty night, as you can tell in second photo.

The next day we took a walk through the park around the Tower of Liberty and then we attended a very good friend’s party in Jersey, and I drew a few cartoons for her guests, while Scott did a little strolling magic.

I do not know how I pulled all these events in one weekend…yawn…scritch/scritch…but here is my album!

This was a very successful event with my live Party Style Digital Cartoons!
I was requested to draw in B&W so I can have everyone (45+) digitally drawn.

Since the night was a polka dotted night, (yet I had no idea until I arrived and I WORE my polka dotted blouse) I added colored polka dots to each drawing.
Each were printed on 4×6 photo paper and put into a photo card.

Even on vacation, I can’t get away from drawing, only because I love, loVE, LOVE to doodle!

Here is a doodle of my son, when he loses about 10 lbs. and gets that dog he always wanted.

We added the word Goofy and some “COLOR and FUN!”

This is only a rough draft, but my client loves it!
This is to be put on the back of T-shirts for a day of fun and games with a child and parent on Father’s Day!

Those of you viewing my blog may have noticed that in the past several months, I have been really involved with Cartooning bodies at my booked events. Expect to see more of this!
Ever since I finished Stephen Silver’s character design class, I decided to make this a big stepping stone with my caricature business and I am really enjoying it!
