Academia has been back in swing and the students are briskly crossing the campus from one class to another. But something was different this time. A crowd gathered around something in the university’s main hub’s lobby. They were watching a giant monitor showing caricatures being drawn.

Attached to that giant monitor was my iPad, and the caricatures being drawn on the monitor were being broadcast from my digital canvas as I drew students on my iPad.

As I normally do, the ipad caricatures were printed wirelessly so the students would have a glossy print to keep.

Friends of those being drawn stood around, watching the student being drawn on the giant monitor and on my iPad as I turned them into a digital cartoon.
