A Day at Banff!

Yesterday, we didn’t have any events lined up so Kelly took me to Banff to enjoy the wonderful sites, shops and to dine in the city at the base of the mountain. The weather is a bit unpredictable in Canada this week, a mix of hot days along with cold days and rain.

As we drove up the mountain towards the gandola, I was thrilled to spot a baby moose and get out of the car to take close-up photos of him. Later, we took a ride on the gandola up a mountain side to collect wonderful photo views of Banff.

On the way home, we stopped at the place that held the Calgary winter olympics in 1988 (the luge). This is also the place where they filmed the movie, “Cool Runnings” with John Candy. And a nice photo of the city of Calgary.
