Well, this week was the best week of all! All 3 finalists, (Francois, Brittany, Tom) really took the stage! Francois even dressed up like Elvis to sing “Suspicious Minds.” Francois sang Dean Martin, Elvis and then a Maria Carey song! What a crazy mix, but he pulled it off! Tom was our Broadway HIT boy and Brittany was kicking the floor with her country gal-way! This show will be the most memorable for the contestants really gave their all! The news captured us (judges) on-line, along with my Aunt and Uncle showing up to watch the show for the first time (participating in Francois’ 1st song! Cathy, one of the main judges, was absent, so D-Mike, from T-102, filled in for her. Cathy sure missed the best seats in the house this time!

Where is Scott when there’s something like this brewing out west? ha ha I worked on this design for a client all week and even came up with the idea! Now, we developed a relationship with more promising cartoon ideas and fun in the near future! I’m really looking forward to this!

I actually made plans for this special day (July 14th) and had to refuse any drawing events to enjoy my son’s 20th year celebration! We (Jt and I) made plans and went north of the mountain (Poconos) on a “The Great Train Robbery” ride in the town of Honesdale, Pa! This was a 3.5 hour ride full of laughter and adventure, Mexicans trying to find the money on train, etc. while pulling into the town of Hawley, where my son and I decided to grab lunch at a FABULOUS Bistro named Torte Knox! Later, we had planned to stay in a B&B place, but our plans fell thru (mainly because the owner of ranch “forgot” about our reservations and arrival time),so we stayed at a Radisson Hotel and enjoyed the rest of our evening plans. As you can see, we took other goofy fun photos.
Also, on the long ride north, I HAD to stop and take photos of the windfarm on the mountains. (it’s hard to see, but they are in the one photo above - click to make bigger) At my FT job, during day, at Engineer firm, I am currently drafting windfarm plans on the mountains in our local area, so seeing this was very exciting for me. I HAD to pull over and take photos, as my son complained!
What a fun weekend! It’s not often I take time off to enjoy…LIFE!!

It’s that time of year, again, and Scott and I are a part of our 5th year County Idol contest at our local mall. Scott is our infamous MC and I am one out of 3 judges (Judge Jordan)-hee! The competition will continue throughout this month, but we have some pretty decent tune blowers!
Right before the competition tonight, I doodled Scott with my pen and decided to scan and color it just now. This took me 2 minutes to draw in pen and about 15-20 minutes to color in Painter tonight! Whever I go, I just can’t stop doodling! Ok…back to the drawing board now!

I happen to design this character over the winter months, just fooling around in painter. I call her Eva, for now.

I just created 2 new websites, within a few months, but my live digital caricatures is my most recent and is still under construction (actually…both are being tankered with). Gee, can you tell the sites were designed by same artist? LOL! Also, my video will be updated, as well, with my newest live digital samples and more, so I’m hoping to post this soon. However, I have a recent huge, heavy drawing project order this month, so I hope to keep up with my personal stuff, including website, while I have this project finished for Client’s deadline due date!
Enjoy my sites (click on link):
