This was a long and fun event and I had the pleasures of working with my artist friend, Pat! These kids loved the cartoons we doodled for them that they kept coming back for more. They were even doing funny poses for Pat and I to draw!
I found it very pleasing that a few young children stood at my side while drawing, and complimented me on my caricature work. I even drew many of the parents, and I’m sad to say that my battery camera died and I didn’t get the chance to save those “pictured” memories. When I drew a few of the adults, I had many all gathering around, watching and laughing.
This was a FANTASTIC Bat Mitzvah and the daughter and mother were soooo beautiful! I’m serious! The mother came very close to Carmen Electra!
This was a fantastic event, just like it was last year. Great people at Citizen’s Bank and everyone there laughed and enjoyed my work and want to see me back again!
I’m so excited tonight! I’ve been working on my OWN website design for months now, plus learning html, codes, etc and I finally uploaded my first phase, all created by me…(with my husband’s “coaching” help) . Plus, the fact that I was lucky enough to purchase my own domain name years ago! Yay!
Also, I’ve been working on many cartoons, including my comic. These pages, hopefully, will come alive as the days/weeks go by, and as I work around my busy schedule! Stay “Tooned!”

Long story, but my “Buddy,” whom I saved from a ferret shelter 2 years ago, developed a tumor that grew to the size of my fist, will need to be put down, before he suffers terribly. This enormous tumor is living off him and pushed all his organs into other sections of his body, that he is lucky to be alive and kicking today. It’s a tough decision to take a pet’s life, when he seems to be running around like a happy camper, but I’ve been warned by ferret experts that a simple rupture (inside) can be a disaster to all! Here’s to you Buddy! Your happy “dook-dook’s” and your charging at Tipper, the cat, will be missed!
Two caricature performances over the weekend and few pics taken, since my camera powered out! I received my best compliment ever, from a young child at my first party (Bar Mitzvah). This adult snuck in my chair, during the magician’s act, while watching the act. He roared over my cartoon of him and shook my hand!
Gosh, I really dislike my face with glasses/stringy hair in this video, but what can I do? I’ll have to have Scott replace with new, as we take more footage in future!
I had Scott do a 3D Lightwave of my comic character (created in video). His name is “Ike”, (the yellow icon in video- (he is copyrighted), and you shall see more of him in my comic stories, to come, on my new website.
Well, this took me 5 hours to the clock striking midnight last night. (~Yawn - scritch, scritch~ )
Is it finished, or abandoned? I have yet to determine that one and I might try a more blue portrait finish to it. Besides, looking at it closely, I can see some blotchy spots that a need a fixin, especially the lonely dark streak in top left of hair.
I’ll tweak at it some more tonight, while watching Idol and House!
