I’ve been trying to upgrade my work, since my cartoon samples on my website are 4 yrs old. I have thrown my pencil on a few celebrities, but here is the start of my “Newest” Elvis, so far. I’m working on his cartoony body this week, so check back to see my finale!

Scott, JT and I ventured out for a fun evening at the movies. As we stopped by Barnes and Nobles for Scott’s quick caffeine fix and JT’s Bathroom Reader scoping, I sat and doodled a cartoon of us into my sketchbook with the only 2 markers I had with me! Here is my scan!
News flash…I’ve updated my marker mess to a dandy digi! I really love these 2 colors together and plan to work them some more!

Before I started my digital party, I had to practice on Scott. He told me this was a keeper!
And BOY, he DID look that serious! ha ha

These digital quickies had to be designed fast…meaning SPEED was a concern…so when you give more to one, you lose from another, like quality. I wish I can show off the likeness (a photo of my victims-LOL!) for I felt I was having a very good night! One thing I CAN say is I had all guests laughing and enjoying my cartoon-likeness results!
Overall, my client was pleased, so I’m pleased!

I look forward to drawing “Live Digital Cartoons” for Lena and Steve’s birthday party! (Lena did not want her glasses drawn.)
